We've been hard at work creating a near future world where AI companions can be installed installed on human bodies that have neurological implants. This is the premise for Code Demon, the award-winning feature film script Diana Porter and I have written and been pitching. We decided that we should adept the script into a short film we could have as a proof of concept. But, we didn't want just a sizzle reel or concept trailer. We needed it to be a complete and proper short film we could take to festivals.

Literally a year after shooting "The Rewind" we rolled camera on "PROXY," our 11-page adaptation of the core conflict in Code Demon. Production lasted 3 days. We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Production Designer and Producer Bryan Felty. The attention to detail and world-building Felty brings to each project is fantastic. Returning as cinematographer, Trevor Pendleton elevated the visuals with through lighting plans and helping us jump into our first foray into shooting with anamorphic lenses.
Our cast and crew were on point and such a joy to work with. As we get post-production started, I'm very excited to bring this whole thing together. It truly is the best thing I've had the honor of directing to date and is something my co-director Diana Porter and I are eager to share with the world.
