I survived one of the toughest seasons of my life by asking myself that question repeatedly. Yup. As a total sci-fi nut, my role model is a fictional astronaut stranded alone on Mars trying to science the shit out of his problems so he can survive. On this week's episode of my podcast, I dive into why "The Martian" was such a change of pace for sci-fi of late and how it continues to help me deal with really hard time (like, you know, a pandemic).
Also, I had the most unexpected interruption while recording this episode! I did not see that coming at all. And yet, go figure, it was totally fitting given what I was talking about. And now I've had to ask myself again, "What would Mark Watney do?"
