Just after the 2016 presidential election, one of the best films of the 2010s came out. "Arrival" was exactly what I needed that weekend. It was uniquely relevant, incredibly thought-provoking, and expertly executed. In short, "Arrival" is exactly my kind of sci-fi movie.
Four years on, and another incredibly tense presidential election later, this movie remains relevant in multiple ways. Because of that, I wanted to take some time to dive into why I continue to revisit this film and love the many profound questions it sparks for me. If you want to get in on this discussion, I encourage you to check out the latest episode of my podcast.
The YouTube video version premieres tonight at 5pm EST.
